DOSING: For the treatment of depression, the dose for adults is
150-600 mg per day. The initial starting dose usually is 150 mg per
day. Trazodone is given in one or more daily doses, sometimes with the
largest dose at night.

Trazodone hydrochloride is administered orally. The drug should be taken shortly after a meal or light snack. If drowsiness occurs, a major portion of the daily dose may be given at bedtime or dosage may be reduced.

Trazodone hydrochloride is a triazolopyridine-derivative antidepressant that is chemically and structurally unrelated to tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants or to selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors.

Thiazides are diuretics and antihypertensive agents.

DEPAKOTE® Tablets (divalproex sodium) Delayed Release Tablets

Sodium valproate or valproate sodium  is the sodium salt of valproic acid and is an anticonvulsant used in the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder, as well as other psychiatric conditions requiring the administration of a mood stabilizer. The intravenous formulations are used when oral administration is not possible.

Idication for uses: Mania,Epilepsy , and Migraine

Divalproex sodium therapy is usually started at 10–15 mg per kg of body weight per day. Dosages are then increased until seizures seem to be well controlled. This is usually achieved at averages under 60 mg per kg per day.

To treat mania, divalproex sodium is usually started at a daily dose of about 750 mg.

For migraine prevention, divalproex sodium is started at 250 mg, twice per day. In some patients, this dose will have to be raised to a total of 1,000 mg per day.

Prednisone most often is used for treating several types of arthritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, systemic lupus, allergic reactions, asthma and severe psoriasis. It also is used for treating leukemias, lymphomas, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Corticosteroids, including prednisone, are commonly used to suppress the immune system and prevent the body from rejecting transplanted organs. Prednisone is used as replacement therapy in patients whose adrenal glands are unable to produce sufficient amounts of cortisol.

Dexamethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid. Its naturally occuring counterparts are hydrocortisone and cortisone. Although the drug is used in a variety of ways, in general, it reduces inflammation and depresses the immune system. Dexamethasone may also be called by its brand name, Decadron.

Propoxyphene is a medication for treating pain. It is an opioid analgesic (related to opium) chemically similar to methadone,is half to two- thirds as potent as codeine, meaning that 90 to 120mg of propoxyphene provides as much pain relief as 60mg of codeine.
